Hive Bakery & Cafe is a chic, American style cafe for breakfast, lunch, pastries and coffee. With the option of eat-in or grab & go, the cafe offers a flavorful menu based on seasonal selections of fresh, local produce. Featuring a cuisine based on the highest quality ingredients, house-made pastries, and artisanal breads, Hive Bakery & Cafe is sure to delight.
With an emphasis on collaboration not competition, Hive expanded its trade program with the creation of Hive Trade Showroom. This upscale showroom includes Hickory Chair Palm Beach and other luxury brands of furniture, textiles, wallcoverings and lighting.

Sara McCann is Founder and Creative Director of Hive Collective, a collection of brands devoted to luxury products and high-quality services. Hive Collective currently includes McCann Design Group; Hive Home, Gift & Garden; Hive for Her, Him & Kids; Hive Trade Showroom; Hickory Chair Palm Beach; and Hive Bakery & Cafe.
After moving to Palm Beach in the 1990s, Sara founded her interior design firm, McCann Design Group, in 2000. Years of living and entertaining in Palm Beach have honed her expertise for designing interiors that flow beautifully and function flawlessly.
Recognizing the need for a high-end home store in the Palm Beach area, Sara opened Hive Home, Gift & Garden in 2013 as a showcase for her fresh style and unerring eye. Extending her passion for design beyond interiors, Sara expanded the Hive brand in 2019 to include the apparel boutiques, Hive for Her, Hive for Him and Hive for Kids. 2021 brought the launch of Hive Trade Showroom and Hickory Chair Palm Beach followed by her highly anticipated restaurant, Hive Bakery & Cafe, which opened in Spring of 2022. Sara’s newest venture is a contemporary home furnishings store, Pure by Hive, which was introduced in December 2023.
In 2020, the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce awarded Sara with the Entrepreneur Award, speaking to her creative spirit and innovative presence in Palm Beach County. Since 2020, Sara has been included in The Palm Beach 100, an annual publication from Palm Beach Illustrated honoring Palm Beach County’s most influential business leaders. In the Fall of 2022, Sara was awarded as an American Free Enterprise Companion Medalist by Palm Beach Atlantic University at their annual ceremony. Most recently in March of 2023, the Ann Norton Gardens Conservancy presented the Ann Norton Award for Philanthropy to Sara.
